January is right around the corner and it is time to enroll your little math wizard in one of Think Academy’s monthly online Basic Math courses! Think Academy’s Basic Math classes meet the curriculum standards of highly ranked private schools and will allow your children to get ahead of their math peers. 

It is no secret that these chaotic times have hindered students’ ability to learn their assigned math material in an efficient manner. The curriculum pace at public schools has slowed down and despite the private school courses being more up to speed, they normally lack the organized structure to be able to effectively deliver the lesson plan to the students. 

Luckily at Think Academy, these Basic Math classes solve both of those problems. These courses are designed to act as a supplemental program that will help boost your children’s confidence and get them back on track to becoming experts in Mathematics in a short period of time. In addition, Think Academy’s Basic Math classes prepare students to score high on both the ISEE and other standardized tests. 

The Basic Math courses are created in a way that will both challenge the students and allow them to have fun along the way. Each class will be full of enjoyable exercises that will have your children wanting to come back for more. 

The Basic Math program was implemented in March as a way to provide parents with the resources needed to assure that their students remain on a smooth development path in the subject of math. Since its implementation, there have been around 500 students that have enrolled in the program. 

Think Academy is offering three different levels of Basic Math courses for the month of January. Level one covers kindergarten and first grade, level two covers second and third grade, and level three covers fourth and fifth grade. 

Throughout the duration of a little over two weeks, students will master six separate math modules. The amount of difficulty for each set of modules differs depending on which level your children are enrolled in. 

Due to the fact that six modules are a significant amount of information to cover in just over three weeks of time time. Each course divides the modules up into six individual sessions. That way, students will not only be able to learn the class material at an efficient pace. They will also be able to retain the information that they learn each session. 

Think Academy is also offering a Basic Pre Algebra course this January for students in fifth grade through middle school. This course will help your children get a head start in the subject of algebra to ensure that they pass their future algebra one class with flying colors. The structure for this class is the same as the Basic Math courses for levels one through three and consists of six modules and six individual sessions.
