Our Year-Round Spring 2021 courses start on January 8th and end on June 5th. This program is a half-year long course that meets once a week. It includes a total of 20 lessons, and has classes for grades: Grades 1 – Grades Middle School

Think Academy’s 7 Math Modules
The Think Academy Year-Round Spring Course introduces students to 7 new math abilities through our 7 modules. The 7 modules covers learning objective taught in the U.S.’s national math curriculum.
In the Think Academy 7 modules, students will also learn subjects and strategies that are reviewed in elementary school math competitions. By the end of the Think Academy Year-Round Spring course, students will have a strong understanding of mathematics and cultivate scientific thinking.
Think Academy’s 12 Level Ability System
In the Think Academy Year-Round Spring Course students will also learn our 12-level ability system. In this system, we break each grade from K – 5th Grade into two levels.
For every level, there are specific skills and abilities we focus on developing. This learning system is the most scientific and systematic mathematics curriculum for Grade 1 – Grade 5 American students.

Different Think Academy Spring Course Class Levels
Every child has a different starting level and learning speed. Think Academy firmly believes in the importance of scientific learning methods and personalized education for children, so the Think Academy Year-Round Spring Course classes are strictly divided into four levels:
• Enhancement: cultivate interest and lay a solid foundation
• Advancement: interest + competition
• Mastery: top of the competition
• ACE: Preparatory class for the training team
To determine which class level is the best fit for your child’s current math skills and learning speed, we require that each child takes a 1-on-1 evaluation before being placed in a class.
It is not recommended to deliberately pursue high-level shifts, the class that is suitable for your child’s current learning level is their best class option.

The Think Academy 12-level system has specific difficulty and expansion attributes to ensure that our students learn every essential math lesson, develop outstanding study habits, and build upon systematic learning. In all of our Think Academy courses, we teach learning techniques that help children before, during and after class.
Think Academy Study Habits
Before class, students will preview the content of the course in advance. During the class, students will develop the three habits of diligent writing, good expression, and summarization.
The class time is split into different segments: lecture time, group discussions, puzzle games, rest, and activity time to ensure that every child can experience the mysteries of mathematics in a rhythmic and efficient manner. After class, students can review their classroom knowledge through a class video playback, homework, and a 1-hour dedicated live class.
At the same time, at the middle and end of each semester, we will also evaluate each student’s knowledge modules and abilities in mathematics, and set the student’s progress goals in the next semester cycle.

Think Academy Year-Round FAQ
- What if my child doesn’t meet the requirements for their current class level?
If after the evaluation, it is found that the child does not meet the three levels for the time being, it is recommended to drop to the first grade for the test and register for the Basic Math course to strengthen the basic knowledge
- What if my child outgrows the curriculum taught in their current class level?
Think Academy will regularly re-stratify and classify children, with 5% mobility during each semester.
- Does Think Academy offer types of courses besides year-round courses?
In addition to our Year-Round, Think Academy also offers a variety of Short Term Courses and our monthly Basic Math courses.
- What is your refund policy if my child doesn’t like the class?
We offer refunds at any time: If you are not satisfied after the first class, you will be refunded in full. If you are not satisfied after the start of the class, you will be refunded at any time.
- What if I need to re-schedule a class date?
All students can change classes at any time: If there is a time conflict in the course, you can change classes or transfer classes.
