Through her enjoyable lessons, Judy Li strives to spark her student’s interest and appreciation of both the Chinese language and culture 

Meet Judy Li, one of Think Academy’s enthusiastic and enlightening Chinese language teachers! We are so incredibly grateful to have a team of inspirational educators who are dedicated to developing their students’ learning skills. Today, we are going to talk about Judy’s academic accomplishments, teaching experience, and more.

Judy Li: Educational Background and Achievements  

Judy attended Columbia University, a private Ivy League research institution located in the heart of New York City. While at Columbia University, she earned her Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology. 

In addition, Judy currently has three years of teaching experience and has taught over 100 students within that timespan. 

Judy Li: Teaching Philosophy 

Judy believes that the Chinese language and culture has the power to open American students’ eyes and introduce them to a new aspect of the world. While teaching, Judy’s goal is to enlighten her students and help them recognize their improvements and accomplishments. 

As a Chinese teacher, she firmly believes that allowing her students to explore the assigned material is much more important than simply teaching and practicing. In her classroom, students consistently enjoy the knowledge and joyfulness that Judy brings to them. 

She hopes to ensure that all of her students have an equal opportunity to participate in class and appreciate their time together. Moreover, Judy welcomes feedback from both students and parents and is open to all kinds of advice in order to improve the teaching content.

Classes Judy Li Teaches

This summer, Judy will be teaching both Think Academy’s Level One Summer Session and 2021 Magic Chinese Phonics courses! Each of these classes contain 10 lessons and start in July. However, the Summer Session courses hold lessons three times a week while the Magic Chinese Phonics classes hold lessons five times a week. 

In addition, our Level One Summer Session courses are perfect for children in Pre-K to Grade 1 while our Magic Chinese Phonics classes are suitable for Pre-K to Grade 2 students.

Judy will be teaching Think Academy’s Level One Fall Session courses as well! These classes will be held once a week and go from August to December. Furthermore, each course will contain 15 lessons.

1-on-1 Evaluation

As a reminder, if you would like to register for one of our long-term math courses. Make sure to schedule a free 1-on-1 evaluation if you have not already! Think Academy’s 1-on-1 evaluation contains an overview of our mission and academic structure, a 15-question evaluation exam, a one hour in-depth analysis, and a 15-minute teacher-to-parent discussion. After the evaluation, a customized study plan will be provided so that all of your child’s learning needs are met!
