Jack Cui: Think Academy Teacher Profile
Through his experience as a tutor, Jack Cui has developed into a passionate and inspirational math teacher
Meet Jack Cui, another one of Think Academy’s intelligent and devoted educators! Our instructors spend countless hours creating and perfecting their course curriculums. They want to make sure that the content that is being presented to the students is of the highest quality. Today, we are going to talk about all of Jack’s accomplishments as both a student and teacher.
Jack Cui: Educational Background and Experience
Jack Cui began his college journey by attending the University of California, San Diego. While at UCSD, Jack earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, and a minor in Education Studies.
After finishing his undergraduate tenure, Jack went on to attend graduate school at Boston University. There he would obtain a Master of Science degree in Mathematical Finance.
As for teaching experience prior to Think Academy, over the past four years Jack has been continuously tutoring students in math topics that range from AMC 8 to university calculus. He is also extremely knowledgeable about the United States math curriculum as a whole. In addition, Jack received perfect scores in the mathematics sections of the SAT, AP, and GRE exams.
Jack Cui: Teaching Philosophy
As a teacher, Jack strives to support his students with passion and a devotion for education. He believes that in order for children to succeed in academics, they need an instructor who is willing to go above and beyond and do everything in their power to guide them through their schooling journey.

Jack also understands that sometimes students need a little bit of extra motivation to become inspired. That is why he always comes to class with an energetic and enthusiastic attitude towards math and learning.
Classes Jack Cui Teaches
On May 29th and June 5th, Jack will be teaching Think Academy’s online $5 long-term course trial lesson for incoming grade 5 students. These one-hour trail lessons are the perfect opportunity to get a sample of what Think Academy has to offer at an affordable price!
This summer, Jack will also be teaching Think Academy’s mastery level incoming grade 5 classes! These online long-term summer classes are geared to both help students in grades K-8 review material from the previous grade and give them a head start on next year’s math topics.
Summer courses for grades K-2 consist of 10 lessons while courses for grades 3-8 consist of 15 lessons. In addition, classes for grades 2-8 have three difficulty options of advancement, mastery, and ACE. We have sections that go from June to July, July to August, and June to August. Our summer courses also have once a week, twice a week, and three times a week meeting options!

1-on-1 Evaluation
As a reminder, before you register for our long-term courses. Make sure to schedule a free 1-on-1 evaluation if you have not already! Think Academy’s 1-on-1 evaluation contains an overview of our mission and academic structure, a 15-question evaluation exam, a one hour in-depth analysis, and a 15-minute teacher-to-parent discussion. After the evaluation, a customized study plan will be provided so that all of your child’s learning needs are met!
