Recap:
How to succeed in AP/IB Classes?
College-level classes, such as AP and IB are challenging, but Yang suggests that students can do well by knowing the scoring criteria and getting regular feedback.
The scoring criteria of a class or exam allow students to spend their time wisely and obtain good scores. This was how Yang got 41/42 back in high school.
How to make volunteering shine?
Yang believes that volunteering was the most important factor in her application.
Because all students have volunteered, she suggests that students should show their reflections in personal essays. She also recommends students record their activities and reflections since freshmen year, so that they can tell a coherent story when they apply to college.
