Meet Nini Hou, another one of Think Academy’s lively and exciting teachers! Our educators strive for greatness in their students and work hard to ensure that they are put in a position to succeed. Today, we are going to talk about all of Nini’s achievements both as a student and as a teacher.

Nini Hou: Educational Background and Teaching Experience

Nini received her Master’s Degree from Stanford University and has a tremendous amount of passion for education. After graduating from Stanford, she joined TAL Education Group (Think Academy’s parent company).

As a young and promising teacher at TAL, Nini was assigned the job of both a math teacher and teaching research team head at Think Academy. As of today, Nini has taught over 1,000 students from grade 1 to grade 3 and has led them on a successful math development path.

Nini Hou: Teaching Philosophy

Nini firmly believes that math is the foundation of all STEM subjects. Because of this, she continues to spark her students’ interest in math and assists them in exploring the beauty of the subject. In Nini’s classes, her students feel both happiness and excitement in learning math through her energetic and happy way of delivering a lesson.

Through learning, she hopes that her students recognize and appreciate their own improvements and achievements. In addition, Nini likes to dance during her free time and absorb the creative energy that comes from dancing. She then uses this energy to deliver the most exciting lessons!

While teaching, Nini strives to guide her students to think independently. With the proper approach, she is able to help her students solve problems all by themselves and come up with their own mathematical methods and hypotheses.
