New Year greetings in five different dialects

Paper cut outs

Get your scissors and paper ready because our hosts will be teaching you how to create beautiful traditional Chinese New Year paper cut outs. Historically, paper cut outs are a huge part of Chinese New Year celebrations. In addition, they are a way to welcome the spring season. Our hosts will be using red paper for this event. However, at home feel free to use whichever color you like!

Red envelope folding

Another fun arts and crafts activity that will be showcased during the livestream will be a tutorial on how to create your own red envelopes. These red envelopes are given to people on special occasions such as Chinese New Year. One of the purposes of them is to signify good luck. Our hosts will teach you how to create your own so you can write messages inside them!
