Topics Covered in the Course

By the end of our Think Academy Grade 3 Year Round Spring Course, students in Grade 3 will learn:

• Advanced addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of fractions (mixed fractions) problems. In this course we’ll also review non-integer calculations. By the end of our year-round spring course, students will be prepared to tackle problems in higher grades.

• Early exposure to AMC 8 application problems, and learn application problems such as encountering, chasing, and restoring, cultivate abstract thinking which will prepare them for abstract learning lessons in upper grades.

• Learn to skillfully find area, symmetry, grid points and cuts and fills, and get initial contact with geometric models to exercise their sense of space.

Total Cost: $75 / class, $1500 for all classes

How to Register

To determine which class level is the best fit for your child’s current math skills and learning speed, we require that each student take a 1-on-1 evaluation before being placed in a class.
