Topics Covered in the Course

By the end of our Think Academy Grade 1 Year-Round Spring Course, students in Grade 1 will cover:

• Addition and subtraction problems, calculation strategies, and the use of parentheses.

• Math problems that deal with directions, locations, time and money.

• Early exposure to algebra through simple application problems. They’ll also start to build their mathematical vocabulary.

• Understand the symmetry and cutting of graphics through hands-on operation, and master the counting method of plane graphics and stacked three-dimensional graphics.

How to Register

To determine which class level is the best fit for your child’s current math skills and learning speed, we require that each child takes a 1-on-1 evaluation before being placed in a class.
